The founder is simply that: a lucky teenager. Never for want of clothing. Never worrying about heat. Or food. Or anything. Michael Tengler founded this charity in November, 2020, at the age of 16 based upon that premise.
2020 caused the world to implode. With the pandemic, unemployment, natural disasters, and disruptions, the unlucky became even more at risk. Volunteering went down 60% while the need increase exponentially. The Perfect Storm.

Her family began helping in 2021 during the height of the pandemic and she became so passionate that she decided to volunteer with Happycheeks.
